From the
shop-floor
to the
light-pole.

Industrial-grade edge compute, without the industrial-grade markup. M12 A/D/X-coded connectors. Conformal-coated PCBs. IEC 62443 security. OTA by default. Own radios — no per-module royalty. Built for the monsoon, not for the showroom.

Why we built this — the gap

Every IoT device in every Indian smart-city tender passes the spec-sheet review and fails the monsoon.

Every IoT device in every Indian smart-city tender passes the spec-sheet review and fails the monsoon. The marine sensor corrodes in six months. The outdoor gateway's PoE jack rusts. The “industrial” relay board is a plastic housing over a consumer chip. The firmware can't be updated without a site visit. We built the InScope IoT stack the way aerospace does — conformal-coated PCBs, M12 A/D/X-coded connectors, IEC 62443 firmware with signed OTA, STQC passed, NDAA §889 equivalence — at a price an Indian logistics CIO or a municipal CTO can actually sign off.

Gap 01 — Longevity
A five-year board,
not a six-month one

Conformal coating + IP67 enclosure. The marine buoy, the highway gantry and the mill floor get the same board protection — not an extra coat someone brushed on after the fact.

Gap 02 — Interface
M12 connectors —
not RJ45 in a box

A/D/X-coded M12, Phoenix terminal blocks, DIN-rail mount, industrial-USB retention. The I/O the site engineer expects to see. A gateway you can't wire is a brick.

Gap 03 — Stack
Own radio stack.
No per-module royalty

5G, LoRa, Wi-Fi 7 and BT are designed in-house. Every chip, sensor and tuner picked by peer comparison, not data-sheet shopping. Right part, not cheapest match.

Design principles

Siemens-class envelope. Tesla-class OTA. Cristone-class IP stack.

Five principles from the industrial world, a radio stack from an ex-Jio architect, a patent portfolio from 55 previous inventions.

  1. Principle 01
Environmental tolerance is the feature, not the footnote.
Global benchmark · Siemens Simatic · Advantech · Kontron · Moxa All industrial benchmarks are engineered to −40 °C to +85 °C as table stakes. InScope's IoT range ships the same envelope, with IP65 / IP67 ingress, IK10 impact, EMC-hardened boards, and conformal-coated PCBs, and MIL-STD-810H validation in the dev-stage cycle. A five-year board, not a six-month board. An enclosure that won't rust at the port, won't melt on the gantry, won't crack at the substation.
  2. Principle 02
Connectors are a spec, not a detail.
Global benchmark · Phoenix Contact · Harting · TE Connectivity Field-industrial connectors are the difference between a gateway that gets wired in and a gateway that gets returned. InScope ships M12 A/D/X-coded connectors, DIN-rail mount, industrial-USB retention, and Phoenix terminal blocks — the I/O the site engineer expects to see. Every I/O choice is specified by the use-case, not by the distributor catalog.
  3. Principle 03
    Over-the-air is the deployment model.
Global benchmark · Tesla · John Deere · Peloton · Zipline All of them treat OTA as core, not optional. InScope's OTA delivery is atomic, signed, rollback-safe, and runs over LoRa / 5G / Ethernet / Wi-Fi 7. Fleet-scale updates or rollbacks in minutes — with full audit. The InScope Fleet Manager is a house product, not a third-party SaaS; no per-device cloud fee.
  4. Principle 04
    Security is certified, not claimed.
Global benchmark · IEC 62443 (Siemens · Honeywell · Schneider) IEC 62443 is the industrial-cyber standard the old hands now design to. InScope edge-compute carries TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, signed firmware by default — every device has a cryptographic identity before it leaves the factory. NDAA §889 equivalence end-to-end: no banned silicon in the critical path. A gateway that can survive a cyber audit, not one that requires post-hoc hardening.
  5. Principle 05
The radio stack is owned, not licensed.
Global benchmark · Sierra Wireless · Telit · Quectel (royalty-bearing) Most “industrial” IoT vendors OEM their radio from a module vendor and pay a per-module royalty. InScope's 5G, LoRa, Wi-Fi 7 and BT radios are designed in-house — with Rahul Atluri's edge-AI / embedded architecture guidance (ex-Jio Platforms) and Anil Bhavisetti's IP portfolio (Cristone — 55+ patents). The BOM doesn't carry a royalty; the Indian buyer doesn't pay one.
  6. Supporting
Peer-tested components. Atomic fleet. No cloud tax.
House rules · cross-cutting Every chip and connector is picked by peer comparison, not data-sheet shopping. InScope Fleet Manager orchestrates atomic OTA at scale — with signed rollback, cohort rollout and region-aware schedules. No per-device cloud fee. Protocol stack ships with REST, MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus and ROS-ready for robotics integrations.
The engineering story

Four walls, every one ours from chip to fleet.

Silicon, ingress, connectors, software — engineered from the board up, with a signed firmware identity the device carries from the factory floor.

NPU Wall 01
Silicon

NVIDIA Jetson (edge-AI, up to 10 TOPS) · NXP i.MX / Rockchip RK-series · Qualcomm modem-RF · LoRa SX1302 concentrators · Wi-Fi 7. Silicon chosen for use-case, not the short-list.

IP67 Wall 02
Ingress & Environmental

IP65 / IP67 enclosures · IK10 impact rating · aluminium-extruded passive thermals · conformal-coated PCBs · wide-temperature operation. EMC-hardened. Validated to MIL-STD-810H methods in dev.

M12 / PHX Wall 03
Connectors

M12 A/D/X-coded · 4× per device standard · RS485 · IO-Link · Ethernet · PWR · isolated I/O. DIN-rail mount. Phoenix terminals. The gateway the site engineer can wire, not the one that ships a custom pin-out.

OTA Wall 04
Software

InScope OS (buildroot / Yocto) · InScope Fleet Manager for atomic, signed OTA · protocol stack covers REST · MQTT · OPC-UA · Modbus · ROS-ready for robotics. No per-device cloud fee.
